According to mythological beliefs, Tulsi Devi was born on the day of Kartik Shukla Ekadashi (Devuthani Ekadashi). That is why special celebrations of Tulsi puja and Tulsi marriage are organized on this day. The marriage of Tulsi and Lord Vishnu starts from Devuthani Ekadashi till Kartik Purnima. It is believed that through Tulsi worship and marriage, Lord Vishnu awakens and fulfills all the tasks of the devotees.
What is recognition?

Regular worship of Tulsi in the month of Kartik brings happiness, prosperity, good luck and peace in the house. Also, this fast and worship is considered to bring love, loyalty and stability in the relationship between husband and wife.
Rules and method of Tulsi worship
In the month of Kartik, it is auspicious to offer water to Tulsi, light a lamp and recite Tulsi Stotra every morning after bathing. At the time of Tulsi worship, Tulsi should be worshiped along with Lord Vishnu. Offering milk, turmeric and kumkum to Tulsi is considered auspicious.
follow these rules
According to Vastu Shastra, keeping the Tulsi plant in the north-east or east direction of the house is considered very auspicious. This direction is the center of Sun’s energy and positive vibrations, which brings happiness, peace and prosperity in the house. Tulsi should never be kept in the south direction, because it disturbs the balance of energy. Cleanliness should be maintained near Tulsi and water should be offered daily. Lighting a lamp in the evening increases wealth, good fortune and health in the house. Tulsi should never be watered in an iron or steel vessel. Whereas plucking Tulsi is considered prohibited on Sunday, Sankranti Ekadashi and Dwadashi.
