
Madhya Pradesh :- After the lamps of 22 families were extinguished, the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav finally woke up. He reached Nagpur on Thursday, 10 days after the series of deaths of children due to kidney failure due to cough syrup started and met the victims and their families admitted in AIIMS, New Health City Hospital and Government Medical College.
He assured the family members of full support from the government. Although Dr. Yadav had yesterday told the media about this painful incident and the gross negligence of the government, two days ago, he made this visit. It is known that on September 30, a case of kidney failure of two children due to drinking ‘Coldrif’ cough syrup of Sun Pharmaceuticals was first reported in Parasia in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh.
Who died during treatment the next day in Nagpur hospital. After this, the series of deaths of children is still continuing, 22 children have died and 8 children are still fighting for their lives in hospitals.
Instructions given to doctors and officers
After visiting the hospitals, in the meeting with doctors and administrative officials, the Chief Minister directed that there should be no shortage of treatment. Every possible medical facility should be made available immediately. He ordered for constant monitoring, so that the children could get better care.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is not only bearing the entire cost of treatment, but a joint team of officials and specialist doctors has been deployed in Nagpur. This team is maintaining constant coordination with the families and hospital management. This incident has shocked Chhindwara and Betul districts of Madhya Pradesh.
