Actor Sonakshi Sinha recently visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi with her husband, Zaheer Iqbal. She chose a traditional outfit for the visit. She wore a short kurta with green and white patterns. She paired it with pyjama pants and covered her head with a green dupatta. Zaheer Iqbal wore green trousers and a black shirt.

The couple posed for photos and shared a video of their visit on social media. Sonakshi wrote, “Found a little sukoon right here in Abu Dhabi! #InAbuDhabi #ad.” Fans praised her look. Many appreciated the respectful approach to the mosque’s customs. One fan commented, “Your dress totally matches the aesthetic.” Another wrote, “Beautiful.” Others highlighted that covering the head in spiritual spaces shows respect, regardless of religion.

This visit came shortly after actress Deepika Padukone faced criticism for wearing a hijab in a travel advertisement. Fans noted that both actresses looked elegant and respectful in their visits. Some urged people to stop trolling celebrities and allow them to express themselves.

Sonakshi and Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23, 2017, in a private ceremony in Mumbai. The wedding was attended by close family and friends. Later, a celebration with Bollywood celebrities was held at a Mumbai venue. Reflecting on their marriage, the couple had said, “On this very day, seven years back, in each other’s eyes we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it.”
