New Delhi. Direct flights between India and China are going to start once again. Indigo has announced the launch of daily direct flights between Delhi and Guangzhou, China from November 10. This journey will be made by Indigo’s Airbus A320 aircraft. The announcement came after the Ministry of External Affairs confirmed the resumption of direct flights between India and China. The direct flight was stopped due to the Corona pandemic and Doklam dispute. The Chinese Embassy spokesperson has also confirmed the resumption of flights between the two countries.

IndiGo said it is one of the first airlines to resume flights between India and China after the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, IndiGo had announced flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou from October 26. Vinay Malhotra, Global Sales Head, IndiGo, said, “We are pleased to expand connectivity to China with daily direct flights between Delhi and Guangzhou in addition to the recently launched route from Kolkata. This resumption will bring immense possibilities for cultural exchange and economic cooperation between the world’s two most populous countries.

Know the timing of arrival and departure of the plane
According to the airline, the flight from Delhi will depart at 9:45 pm and arrive in Guangzhou at 4:40 am. The return flight from Guangzhou will depart at 5:50 am and reach Delhi at 10:10 am. Tickets for this route are now available on IndiGo’s website. Additionally, IndiGo also announced the launch of daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi from December 20. The airline will operate Airbus A320 aircraft on this route, which will connect New Delhi to one of the cultural and business destinations of South-East Asia. IndiGo already operates 14 weekly flights between Kolkata and Hanoi as well as Ho Chi Minh City.
