News India Live, Digital Desk: Famous actor Rajpal Yadav, who brings smiles on millions of faces with his comedy, is in the headlines these days for a different reason. It is reported that he had to approach the Delhi High Court to attend a Diwali event to be held in Dubai. Actually, Rajpal Yadav is not allowed to go out of the country due to some old case. In this connection, he has filed an application in the court seeking permission to travel abroad. What is the whole matter? 54-year-old Rajpal Yadav has been invited by a Dubai-based company ‘Bihari Global Connect’ as the chief guest in its Diwali program. This event is to be held between 17th to 20th October, for which Rajpal Yadav has to go to Dubai. His petition has been filed in an old case to a check bounce. In this case, the lower court had convicted him, which he has challenged in the High Court. In June last year, the court had temporarily stayed his sentence so that he could try to solve the case. His lawyer told the court that this case was to the production of a film which was not successful at the box office, due to which he had suffered huge financial loss. The court sought answers. While hearing the case on Friday, Justice Ravinder Dudeja has issued a notice to Delhi Police and the concerned private firm seeking their response. The next hearing of this case will now be held on October 14, only after which it will be clear whether Rajpal Yadav will be able to go to Dubai to meet his fans on Diwali or not. This is not the first time that Rajpal Yadav has sought permission from the court to go abroad. Even before this, the court had given him permission to travel abroad on several occasions.
