Netflix is set for a big month in November 2025. The streaming platform will release several new originals along with the much-awaited finale of Stranger Things. Viewers can expect drama, mystery, and animation—all in one exciting lineup.
The biggest highlight is the final season of Stranger Things. The first volume arrives over Thanksgiving weekend with four new episodes. Fans are expecting an emotional and action-packed ending to one of Netflix’s most popular shows.
Another major release is “Death by Lightning”a four-part historical drama about U.S. President James Garfield and his assassin. It stars Michael Shannon and Matthew Macfadyen and comes from the creators of Game of Thrones, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
“The Beast in Me” brings a psychological twist. Claire Danes plays an author dealing with grief who becomes suspicious of her neighbor, played by Matthew Rhys. The story mixes emotion with intense suspense.
Guillermo del Toro returns to Netflix with “Frankenstein”, a dark and emotional retelling of the classic horror tale. After his Oscar-winning success with Pinocchio, this is one of Netflix’s biggest hopes for awards season.
For animation fans, “K-Pop Demon Hunters” offers an energetic mix of music, fantasy, and action. It follows K-pop idols who fight supernatural forces while balancing fame and friendship.
Another animated film, “In Your Dreams”tells the story of two siblings who journey through their dream world. It’s a colorful and heartwarming family adventure made by Kuku Studios and Sony Pictures Imageworks.
The lineup also includes “Train Dreams”, a period drama starring Joel Edgerton, Felicity Jones, and William H. Macy. Set in early 20th-century America, it follows the life of a logger searching for meaning and survival.
Netflix is also expanding its international content. Titles like Japan’s Last Samurai Standing, Poland’s Heweliusz, and Korea’s as You Stood By will bring diverse stories from around the world. Another global highlight is Left-Handed Girl, releasing on November 28.
Returning shows are also on the list. The Vince Staples Show and A Man on the Inside are both back with their second seasons.
For families, Netflix has packed the month with favorites. The final season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theory premieres on November 20, Gabby’s Dollhouse Season 12 arrives on November 17, and Unicorn Academy gets a holiday special on November 13. The streaming giant will also debut Sesame Street for younger audiences.
