Reports in Brazil have indicated that Chelsea attacker Estevao has tested positive for flu while away on international duty.
The 18-year-old is due to be assessed on Monday ahead of training as the Selecao gear up for their latest friendly against Japan in Tokyo on Tuesday.
Estevao had been in line to feature after he recently hit the back of the net twice in the 5-0 demolition of South Korea in Seoul.
The teenage starlet is now beginning to consolidate his place in Carlo Ancelotti's squad after displaying electrifying chemistry with Real Madrid duo Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo in the Far East.
Nonetheless, GE Globo - a Brazilian newspaper - are reporting that Estevao could miss Tuesday's friendly due to illness.

Estevao has reportedly tested positive for flu and may require rest ahead of returning to his parent club Chelsea.
Cole Palmer's groin injury means the red-hot teenager is now of huge importance to Enzo Maresca after he fired a stoppage-time winner against Liverpool before the international break.
Chelsea's squad has already been put to the test in recent weeks due to various fitness issues. However, as many as six players could return after the international break in a major boost for the Club World Cup winners.
The Blues are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Nottingham Forest in the lunchtime kick-off. A number of first-team players are now resting up ahead of the fixture.
Enzo Fernandez, for instance, was sent home by Argentina as he has been battling a knee issue. Furthermore, Moises Caicedo was also left out of the Ecuador squad as he's been struggling with a knock.
Speaking after the five-goal triumph over South Korea, Estevao had outlined his desire to continue building momentum with Brazil ahead of the World Cup.
He said: "I just have to thank God for the moment I'm living. I'm working hard, fighting every day for good things to come, and they are coming, thank God. I dedicate this moment to my family, who helped me a lot, and I can only thank God.
"Our team has been growing every day, every training session. We're very happy with our development, and now we need to continue at this pace.
"God willing, we'll be playing great games and keeping the momentum going. You have to be cool. You have to carefully control the ball, and I was fortunate. I thank God."
