Donald Trump: Donald Trump said that he prevented many wars, including the India-Pakistan dispute. Apart from this he said that he did not do all this for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Donald Trump: US President Donald Trump did not receive the Nobel Peace Prize this time too but he is not disappointed by this. He said that he has helped in ending many wars and disputes in the world. Trump once again claimed that he played an important role in stopping the war between India and Pakistan. He told that till now he has stopped seven wars. However, Trump also made it clear that he did not do all this to get the Nobel Peace Prize. he told reporters on Air Force One during Gaza peace talks en route to Egypt.
Credit again taken for stopping India-Pakistan war
Donald Trump said that he resolved some disputes in which he talked about tariffs. Giving an example, he said that when there was a conflict between India and Pakistan, he said that if you people fight, I will impose 100%, 150% or 200% tariff on you. Only after this the matter was resolved within 24 hours. Trump says that if he had not had this tariff pressure, perhaps that war would not have been stopped.
"I have made seven peace agreements so far"
On October 9, Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that he made peace between warring countries through the strategy of imposing tariffs. When asked how he prepared countries to negotiate, he said, "Having the ability to impose tariffs has brought peace to the world. I have brokered seven peace agreements so far." Trump said that many countries were fighting for a long time and they suffered huge losses due to this. He clearly said that his aim was not to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump said, "I do this only out of respect. I did many important things in 2025, but I did it not for the Nobel, but to save people's lives." However, India has consistently clarified that America had no role in Operation Sindoor and the subsequent ceasefire.
