This controversy started in the year 2023, when a promotional event took place in a hotel in Sarayatrin area of ​​Sambhal district. Javed Habib, his son and his colleagues participated in this event. During this time, he launched a scheme in the name of Follicle Global Company (FLC) and appealed to people to invest.

According to an ET report, this scheme claimed that if people invest Rs 5 to 7 lakh through Bitcoin or other methods, they will get returns of 50% to 75%. Hundreds of people were lured by this greed and invested money. According to the police, most of the investments were made through cryptocurrency. Within a few months, the company's offices were closed and all the accused absconded. When investors asked for money back, they were even threatened.

Company's family connection

Police investigation revealed that FLC company was not of any professional structure, rather it was working like a family business. Javed Habib's wife has been said to be the founder of this company. SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, who is investigating this case, said that the location of the accused is being traced and strict action will be taken under the law.

More than 900 salons across the country

Javed Habib is a big name in the hair and beauty industry. He has more than 900 salons and more than 60 hair institutes across the country. His company 'Javed Habib Hair and Beauty Limited' has also been the partner of many prestigious fashion events like Femina Miss India. His name is recorded in the Limca Book of Records because he cut the hair of 410 people in 24 hours.

Javed Habib's earnings are no less than any Bollywood star. According to a 2016 report by Forbes, his net worth was around $30 million (about Rs 265 crore). According to some media reports in 2022, his annual earning was around Rs 30 crore.
