Raghav Juyal has emerged as a standout performer in Aryan Khan’s debut directorial series, The Ba*ds Of Bollywood, and he credits the success of his scenes to the strong on-set synergy he shared with the director.
“Mera aur Aryan ka combination bahut deadly hai (My and Aryan’s combination is very deadly),” Juyal stated, revealing that many of their humorous moments were created spontaneously. “Mostly we made our scenes on the spot. Our thought process is quite similar in doing comedy.”
Juyal noted that while Aryan would often enact scenes for other cast members to demonstrate his vision, he rarely did this with him. “I don’t know what trust he had in me,” the actor confessed, highlighting the mutual understanding that made their collaboration particularly effective.

The Khan Family Connection
With his role in the series and his upcoming part in the film ‘King,’ Raghav Juyal has achieved the rare feat of becoming the first person to work with actor Shah Rukh Khan’s entire family. When this distinction was brought up, Juyal quipped with his signature humor, “Abhi wo mujhe adopt karne wale hain bas (They are just about to adopt me now).”
He shared a light-hearted anecdote with Shah Rukh Khan himself, which occurred when the superstar was inquiring about Juyal’s health after learning about his numerous injuries. Juyal told him, “Sir meri saari chotein aapki wali hain, bas aapka jaisa paisa aa jaye aur” (Sir, all my injuries are like yours, I just wish I had your kind of money too), prompting SRK to laugh.
Redefining His Career After Kill
Juyal noted that his identity as an actor is gaining significant recognition now, a shift he largely attributes to the film ‘Kill.’
“After Kill, I got 400 scripts. My team got tired going through them all,” he revealed. Following this influx of offers, Juyal has become highly selective, prioritizing quality writing and the director’s vision. “I have decided not to take up any work jiska koi kaam na ho (that has no purpose),” he affirmed.
Beyond choosing roles, Juyal is vocal about his ultimate ambition: “I want to be the biggest superstar of the country.” He drew a powerful contrast between his past and future aspirations, recalling his early days in Bollywood. “I was the side dancer with [actors] Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in ABCD 2 (2015), and my dream now is to be the lead in ABCD 3.”
The Viral Emraan Hashmi Scene
One of the most talked-about moments from the series is Juyal’s scene with actor Emraan Hashmi, where he sings the famous track “Kaho Naa Kaho” from Murder (2004).
“It’s a crazy one. Ab wo gaana mera ban gaya hai (Now that song has become mine),” Juyal joked.
He explained that the comedy bit was premeditated with Aryan, but it was the first time they performed it in front of Emraan Hashmi. Despite the unexpected comedy element, Juyal was impressed by the veteran actor’s focus. “He is a serious and committed actor, and he didn’t leave the character even when the scene happened,” Juyal said, noting that while the entire crew was laughing, Hashmi remained in character. He added that Aryan was also struggling to contain his laughter, covering his mouth throughout the take.
