Fede Dorcaz, a 29-year-old Argentinian model and singer, was fatally shot by motorcycle-riding attackers in Mexico City, authorities confirmed.

According to the New York Postthe incident occurred while Dorcaz was driving home in his truck, just days before he was scheduled to compete on the Mexican dance competition show “Las Estrellas Bailan En Hoy” (The Stars Dance Today) alongside his girlfriend.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security of Mexico City reported that Dorcaz was shot three times, including once in the neck, in the Ampliación Daniel Garza neighborhood. No suspects are currently in custody, and authorities have not confirmed a motive. Multiple media outlets suggested the attack appeared to be an attempted robbery.
The Independent reported that four men fled the scene on two motorcycles. Television host Javier Ceriani claimed that Dorcaz had resisted the attempted theft of his vehicle near the Daniel Garza area.
Dorcaz was known in Mexico for his hits “No Eres Tú” (It’s Not You) and “Cara Bonita” (Pretty Face), both of which reached the Top 10 on Mexican radio. In addition to his music career, he modeled for luxury brands including Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana.
