Wes Brown insists that there are no guarantees about the future of Marcus Rashford beyond the end of his season-long loan at Barcelona. The Catalan club hold a £30million option should they wish to make the loan deal permanent next summer.
Aston Villa also had the chance to snap up the England star for £40million following last season's loan spell. However, they ultimately declined after failing to secure a spot in the Champions League, instead having to settle for the Europa League.
That fee has now dropped to a guaranteed £25million for Barcelona, with an additional £5million dependent on add-ons. Manchester United would also pocket a portion of any future transfer fee.

Rashford has scored three times and provided five assists in ten Champions League and La Liga matches. Unsurprisingly, the Catalan outfit are reportedly eager to secure Rashford's signature permanently.
Brown also believes the player is thriving in Barcelona. He hopes Rashford continues to rediscover his passion for the game, wherever that may be.
When quizzed about whether he envisages a United comeback for Rashford, Brown told 10bet Casino: "It's a tough one. He's there for the season, and then nothing is guaranteed.
"I said before that I thought he would do well. He's got the mentality to succeed, and we'd need to see how it worked for him, and it's started really well so far.
"Would I bring him back? I can't say for sure, because it depends on what the manager wants next season, and it'll be up to him and the player.
"You can see, though, that Marcus is loving life in Barcelona, and when your life is good, your football is good. It's as simple as that.

"He's enjoying it, and I hope it carries on for him, regardless of the club he's at. If it was decided that he comes back to United and he's still in this form, then it's only a good thing."
