A 19-year-old man was killed after being hit by a train while crossing railway tracks in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Tushar. The shocking incident was captured on video, showing the young man attempting to cross a closed railway gate on his motorcycle despite clear danger.
He, however, fell on the track as his two-wheeler skidded. Moments later, noticing an approaching train, he attempted to flee but was struck by the train.
According to Tushar’s family members, his wedding was scheduled for next month, and preparations were underway at home, Bhaskar reported.
Dadri RPF Inspector Sushil Verma confirmed the incident, saying, “We received information about a youth being run over by a train. With the help of local police, the body was sent for a post-mortem. Further legal procedures are being carried out."
