A first batch of bodies of Palestinians killed during the Gaza war arrived in the enclave on Tuesday after being released by Israel, local health authorities said. Israel still holds hundreds of bodies of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023.

Gaza residents said fighters were increasingly visible on Tuesday, deployed along routes needed for aid deliveries. Palestinian security sources say dozens of people have been killed in clashes between Hamas and rivals in recent days.


Hamas sources said on Tuesday the group would tolerate no more violations of order in Gaza and would target collaborators, armed looters and drug dealers.

Hamas Violated Agreement on Release of Dead Hostages: Israel
Meanwhile, Israel told the United Nations on Tuesday that it will only allow 300 aid trucks-half the agreed number -into the Gaza Strip from Wednesday and that no fuel or gas will be allowed into the enclave except for specific needs related to humanitarian infrastructure, according to a note. The restrictions were being taken because "Hamas violated the agreement regarding with slow release of dead hostages."
