Baghpat. A case has come to light from Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh which shocked everyone. Here, a woman and her mother, fed up with the property dispute and blackmailing of her husband, killed her husband Sonu (35). The matter came to light when Sonu's body was found in Jiwana Gulian village on Sunday morning and his brother lodged a police complaint.

Police investigation revealed that Sonu was having a dispute with his mother-in-law regarding property for a long time. Wife Sonia and her mother Saroj told the police that Sonu secretly recorded the video of their mother while taking a bath and threatened to make it public if the plot was not transferred to his name.

What was the reason for the murder of the husband?

Sonu was having a property dispute with his mother-in-law for a long time. It is alleged that Sonu pressurized his wife and mother-in-law to transfer the plot to his name. Fed up with threats and blackmail, the wife and mother-in-law plan a murder. On Saturday evening, he allegedly mixed sleeping pills in milk and gave it to Sonu to drink. When he fell into a deep sleep, they strangled him with a rope. After this, they tried to make the murder look like suicide by hanging the body and breaking the mobile phone.

What property was the dispute about?

The victim's mother had purchased the plot a year ago for Rs 3 lakh, the price of which was now around Rs 30 lakh. It was on this property that pressure and threats led to the murder. In this case, Binauli police station in-charge Rakesh Kumar Sharma said that a case has been registered against seven people.

Did the police take immediate action?

Sonu's body was found in Jiwana Guliyan village on Sunday morning. After his brother's complaint, the police started investigation. On Tuesday, accused wife Sonia and mother Saroj were arrested and sent to judicial custody. The women even tried to break the mobile phone and hide the body in a room filled with straw so that the murder would not be discovered. This makes it clear that the murder was completely planned. The police presented both the accused in the court. Now the legal process will start against him while he is in judicial custody.
