World Test Championship 202527: Pakistan defeated South Africa by 93 runs in the Lahore Test and took a 1-0 lead in the 2-match Test series. With this victory, Pakistan got another big advantage, it has gone ahead of India in the points table of the World Test Championship. By defeating West Indies, India had strengthened its position in the points table of the World Test Championship, it was at number three, but with one win, Pakistan has dropped it to number four, whereas Pakistan team has reached number 2.

Pakistan defeated South Africa in Lahore
Talking about Lahore Test, Pakistan defeated South Africa in a one-sided manner by 93 runs. Batting first on the spin-friendly pitch of Lahore, Pakistan scored 378 runs, in reply the South African team could score only 269 runs in the first innings. After this, in the second innings, Pakistan scored 167 runs and gave the target of 277 runs to the opposition team and the South African team collapsed for 183 runs. The hero of Pakistan's victory was left arm spinner Nauman Ali, who took a total of 10 wickets in the match. Shaheen Afridi achieved 4 successes in the second innings.
