‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’ (KBC) is a TV show which has been teaching the audience along with entertainment for years. But recently on October 9, an episode surprised everyone. Ishit Bhatt, a class 5 student from Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat displayed such energy and confidence that even Big B was stunned for a while.
Ishit continuously tried to answer the questions quickly. In many questions, he gave the correct answer without even looking at the option. His enthusiasm was very much liked by the audience, but sometimes his habit of taking quick decisions also led him towards wrong answers.
Ishit Bhatt’s confidence in KBC and Big B’s reaction
Ishit told Big B Amitabh Bachchan, “I know the rules, so don’t explain the rules to me now.” This answer surprised Big B a bit. Usually Big B helps the contestants while explaining the questions, but this time Ishit’s decision-making ability and confidence made the situation different. Ishit quickly took a quick look at the option and said, “Lock it 4 times.” Big B also agreed with him and immediately locked the answer, although as a result this answer proved to be wrong. There were mixed reactions on social media regarding Ishit’s courage and enthusiasm. Some people trolled him, while others praised his decision-making ability and confidence.
Parenting Tips for Over-Excited Children
1. Listen and respond patiently
Stopping or scolding children immediately can suppress their emotions. Instead, we should listen to them patiently. When children feel that their emotions and enthusiasm are respected, they share their ideas more openly. This exercise helps them develop positive communication and self-confidence. Patient listening helps children understand that their feelings are being evaluated and motivates them to learn and improve despite their failures or mistakes.
2. Explain rules and limitations lovingly
It is important to clearly communicate rules and limits to children, but it should always be done with love and empathy. For example, an important rule is to get into the habit of thinking before responding. This can be explained through games or interesting activities for children. When children gradually learn the process of doing things, both their brain and decision-making abilities become stronger. By explaining boundaries lovingly, children learn to follow them constructively, not as an obligation.
3. Invest energy in your favorite activity
It is very effective to divert the excessive energy of over-excited children in a positive direction by involving them in sports, painting, music or other creative activities. It takes their mental and physical energy in a balanced and useful direction. Creative activities help children develop independent thinking, attention and creativity. For example, while painting children express their emotions, while through games they learn teamwork and decision-making processes.
4. Challenge gradually
Giving children time to make the right decisions by giving them small tasks or games helps to balance their excitement. It not only promotes social and mental development but also gives them the ability to take independent decisions. Gradually increasing the difficulty strengthens children’s patience and habit of thinking. For example, puzzle games or strategy-based games enhance children’s ability to make decisions and understand consequences.
5. Improve with compliments
Praising children for any effort they make and lovingly explaining that making quick decisions can sometimes lead to mistakes helps them improve their self-confidence. With this, children learn to accept positive criticism and remain free from fear or anxiety. This exercise teaches them that mistakes are part of learning and that understanding the consequences of any decision is as important as expressing enthusiasm. Making the child’s energy positive
