A derelict garage in London has undergone a dramatic transformation, selling for an astonishing £1.4million after being completely revamped into a luxurious subterranean house. The row of dilapidated garages, located in Ealing, West London, was razed to the ground to make way for a brand new three-level home.
The once neglected space quickly became hot property, selling within just two days of hitting the market. Adding to the intrigue, the stylish abode had been transformed by Nathan Khider, star of BBC's The Traitors, who also happens to have his own property consultancy firm, Nathan K Real Estate.

Off-screen, Khider specialises in dealing with some of London's most unique properties, including the once run-down garages.
Originally purchased for £300,000, the five garages have been transformed beyond recognition into a sprawling 1577-square-foot property, selling for over four times its original purchase price.
Khider commented: "The house's unique story and design encouraged our cash buyer to put in an offer without hesitation. This was a one-of-a-kind project with half of the house built underground.
"I have never sold anything like this before. It is a huge transformation, turning unused space into a modern three-bedroom home.

"We are delighted that our vision paid off and that all of the challenges were worthwhile! The utility room, two bathrooms and two of the bedrooms are in the basement, while the kitchen-diner is at half basement level."
He added: "The third bedroom is on the ground floor level, with views of the garden terrace. Big windows and five skylights allow plenty of natural light into the modern space."
Building underground proved difficult, Khider admitted, especially when using brickwork, glass, steel and concrete all together, but he couldn't be more pleased with the results.
The new home sits comfortably on Corfton Road, on the boundary of the Ealing Cricket Ground Conservation Area, and faces the Mount Park Conservation Area.
