-It is very important to have the right place to burn crackers. A place where there is no flammable thing around, like dry leaves, grass, or clothes. Burning firecrackers on the balcony or inside the house can be very dangerous. Fields or vacant plots are the best places.

- Always keep a bucket of water and sand ready to avoid any untoward incident on Diwali. If any sparks fly or a fire starts, you can control it immediately.

- Children should wear cotton and slightly fitting clothes while bursting crackers. Apart from this, if you wear nylon or synthetic clothes then you can quickly catch fire.

-Avoid buying cheap and local firecrackers. Always buy crackers from a good and trustworthy shop. Burning cheap firecrackers is harmful, you should take care of this.

-Always keep children away while burning rockets or loud firecrackers. Be careful while burning even small crackers like sparklers or pomegranates. Maintaining adequate distance from firecrackers reduces the risk of injury.

- After burning the crackers, do not leave the remaining pomegranate shells or half-burnt crackers like that. Place them only by soaking them in water or pressing them in sand. Half-burnt firecrackers may rekindle the fire.
