
New Delhi: Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has started the Telangana Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) Postgraduate counselling 2025 application process today, October 16. The AYUSH counselling is held for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) Ayurveda, Unani, and Homoeopathy courses under the competent authority quota. Candidates who have qualified the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2025 are eligible to apply for the respective AYUSH postgraduate courses.
The Telangana AYUSH PG counselling 2025 application link is active on the official website, tsmdayush.tsche.in. The last date to register for the Telangana AYUSH PG courses is October 21 till 6 PM. The Telangana AYUSH PG counselling 2025 fee is Rs 4,000 for open and backward category candidates and Rs 3,000 for the reserve category candidates.
To be eligible for the counselling round under the local category, applicants must have studied in Telangana for a period of at least four consecutive years up to the qualifying exam.
Telangana AYUSH PG 2025 counselling eligibility criteriaCandidates who fulfil the requirements below can apply for Telangana AYUSH PG counselling-
- Candidates must have passed the AIAPGET exam and secured the required minimum eligibility percentile. The general and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates need to have at least 50th percentile, General- Person with Disability (PwD) should have 45th percentile. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Caste (OBC) category candidates, a minimum of 40th percentile is required.
- Candidates who have qualified the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree exam after undergoing a course of study in Ayurveda, which is a minimum of 5 and a half years with compulsory internship are eligible to apply.
- Those who already have a PG degree in Ayurveda are not eligible for admission into another PG Ayurveda course. The rules are applicable to other AYUSH courses as well.
- For in-service candidates, the cut-off date for completion of three years of regular service has been fixed, which is September 30, 2025.
