Companies from all over the world will invest in Punjab, new industrial hub will be built

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has said that now Punjab is emerging as a global industrial hub for big investors of the world. Since March 2022, Punjab has received investment proposals worth Rs 1.23 lakh crore, which are expected to create more than 4.7 lakh jobs.

Punjab becomes the first choice of investors

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that world’s renowned companies are queuing up to invest in Punjab. He said that the state has a favorable environment for industry, better power system and skilled manpower. Mann told the investors that investing in Punjab will give them long lasting benefits as there is an atmosphere of peace, brotherhood and cooperation here.

“Progressive Punjab Investors Summit” will be held in 2026

Inviting the industrialists, Bhagwant Mann said that the sixth edition of “Progressive Punjab Investors Summit” will be organized in Mohali from 13 to 15 March 2026. Industrialists, policy makers and researchers from India and abroad will participate in this conference. They will share their ideas to take Punjab to new heights in the field of industry.

Foreign companies are showing interest

The Chief Minister said that companies from countries like Japan, America, Germany, Britain, UAE, Switzerland, France and Spain are investing in Punjab. He said that multinational companies like Nestle, Cargill, Danone, Freudenberg and Varg Bio are already running their units in Punjab and contributing to the economic progress of the state.

New initiative to promote industry

Chief Minister Mann informed that the Punjab Government has launched “Fasttrack Punjab Portal”, which is India’s most advanced single window system. Through this, more than 150 government services are being made available to the industry on a single platform. He said that now the environment regarding ease of doing business has improved in the state, due to which industries do not face any administrative problems.

New industrial face of Punjab

Bhagwant Mann said that Punjab is now progressing rapidly in sectors like food processing, textile, auto parts, hand tools, cycles, IT and tourism. He said, “This is just the beginning, in the coming times Punjab will become a big industrial center not only in the country but on the investment map of the world.”
