1. Faizan Ansari files FIR against Tanya

Social media influencer Faizan Ansari has reportedly filed an FIR against Tanya Mittal in Gwalior, and he has alleged that her lying about things she has done, including her lavish lifestyle, among other things, has brought disrepute to the city of Gwalior, which in turn is a misleading image of the city of Gwalior.

In addition, he has also submitted a written complaint to the Divisional Commissioner’s office, urging them to take action.

2. Allegedly lying about age

There have been constant reports that Tanya has been lying about her age and the internet seems to have made sense of it because of the stories she has narrated, when she was a part of the pageant, when she started working, among other things.

Reports have it that her original birth date is September 27, 1995, but interestingly, she celebrated her 26th birthday on Bigg Boss 19, citing that she is a 2000-born.

In one of the episodes, Gaurav Khanna had pointed out how he thinks she has lied about stories of going to Lucknow, Agra, among others, to eat certain food or drink tea behind the Taj Mahal, among other things. While it is not possible to verify much, but Gaurav pointed out how she couldn’t answer him on the details when he questioned her about it, and that’s just one thing.

Among other things, her having 150 body guards and the story about Kumbh are also stories that people have reacted interestingly to.

4. Not repeating any saree

Tanya has made tall claims about never repeating sarees and having an entire collection, which is true, but the former is not. In fact, netizens have dug out videos of her wearing the same saree outside the house as the ones she’s been shown wearing in the episodes. While it isn’t a big deal to repeat clothes, why lie about it?

5. Her comments on the Pahalgam terror attack

Following the April 22 Pahalgam attack, Tanya was in the news when she has said that she thinks ‘terrorism has no religion’ and that she doesn’t want to say anything on the issue since it is critical. Later, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department has issued a clarification that she was never their brand ambassador, even though Tanya’s Instagram bio mentioned it. Later, during a conversation with Hindustan Times, she had spoken about the entire controversy and said that she didn’t get affected by the entire thing and was travelling and making videos 48 hours after.

She had said, “Kisi ne mere baarein main kuch kaha and they felt I was a misfit. Kya unke kehne se they can deny that we were working for 8 months together? They just proved a point that when there are difficult times, no one is standing with each other. And I am very happy that they left me because now we are more involved in other states, too. So is there anything stopping me?”
