Ahmedabad to host for 2030 CWG – Tezzbuzz

New Delhi, Oct 16: The Executive Board of Commonwealth Sport has recommended Ahmedabad, India as the proposed host city for the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
The final decision will be made on 26 November 2025 at the Commonwealth Sport General Assembly in Glasgow. If approved, Ahmedabad will be the second Indian city to host the event, after New Delhi in 2010.
India sees this as part of its larger goal to host the Olympics in 2036. The Games are expected to bring jobs, tourism boost, and help showcase India’s infrastructure and sports abilities.
