Bengaluru: A gastroenterologist husband has been arrested for the murder of his young doctor wife. Husband Dr. Mahendra Reddy killed his wife Dr. Krithika by secretly injecting her with anesthesia several times. The shocking thing is that Dr. Mahendra Reddy had even tried to postpone the post-mortem of Krutika's body.

Dr Kruthika Reddy's death, which even her own parents believed to be a natural death, was actually a murder. The medical world of Bengaluru is shocked by this revelation. Dr. Mahendra murdered Kritika by slowly injecting her with anesthesia on the pretext of gastric treatment. Mahendra gave a medicine called Propofol to Krutika, who was suffering from acidity problem, on the pretext of IV fluid at his home and in-laws' house. After getting the medicine given in her body for three days from 21st April, Kritika fell unconscious on 24th. Doctors declared him dead before reaching the hospital, but Mahendra was insisting on not conducting post-mortem. For this he also put pressure on Kritika's father. This planned murder could come to light because of the hospital administration's refusal to agree.

Dr. Mahendra Reddy made every effort to stop postmortem.

In this case, the stance of Krithika's sister, Nikita Reddy, who is herself a doctor, was also important. When it was decided that the post-mortem would take place, Mahendra tried to stay in that room as well. The police intervened and brought him out. Even at that time the suspicion was not on Mahendra. Eventually, when the FSL report came out, relatives and friends were shocked. But why Mahendra killed Kritika is not clear yet. Mahendra had sought help from his in-laws to start his hospital. Police suspect that rivalry over this issue or relationship with another woman could be the reason for the murder. The police is interrogating the detained Dr. Mahendra in detail. Dr. Krithika Reddy was a skin specialist and Mahendra was a gastroenterologist. Both of them were married in 2024.
