
Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: The political temperature of the state is at high regarding Bihar Assembly elections. This election may see a close contest between the BJP-JDU led NDA and the RJD-Congress led grand alliance. However, amidst this election environment, the opposition is continuously raising the question that who will be the face of the Chief Minister in NDA? Now in response to this question, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that it can cause trouble for CM Nitish Kumar. This statement of Amit Shah is being interpreted to mean that – will Nitish Kumar not be the Chief Minister of Bihar again after the elections?
While talking to a news channel in the capital Patna, veteran BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah was answering the question regarding NDA’s CM face. He said that after the victory of NDA in Bihar elections, the name of the Chief Minister will be decided and this decision will be taken by the NDA legislative party. It is clear that like in the last elections, BJP is now symbolically avoiding projecting Nitish Kumar as the CM face of NDA.
CM’s name will be decided in the legislative party meeting
Amit Shah has clearly said that at present the alliance is contesting the elections under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and not only BJP but also the people of Bihar have full confidence in him. He said who am I to make someone the Chief Minister? There is an alliance of so many parties. After the elections, there will be a meeting of the legislative party and it will decide its leader. At present we are contesting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and he is leading our election campaign.
We have more MLAs, still Nitish is CM
Amit Shah said that we still have more MLAs, yet Nitish Kumar is our Chief Minister. On the question to confidence in Nitish Kumar, the Home Minister said that Nitish is an important leader of Indian politics and his association with Congress has never been long. He told that Nitish Kumar never joined Congress.
‘Nitish has been against Congress since childhood’
Regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Amit Shah Said that to judge any leader one should look at his entire political journey. He (Nitish Kumar) basically comes from socialist ideology. He has been against Congress since childhood. He played an important role in the JP movement and fought staunchly against the Congress during the Emergency. He further said that I have full confidence that not only BJP but also the people of Bihar Nitish Kumar But trust.
