Yogi government is making Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025 a confluence of devotion, culture and digital experience. Selfie points based on 20 episodes of Ramayana are being made at Dharampath, Ram Ki Paidi and Lata Chowk, which will become the new identity of Ayodhya.
Ayodhya, 17 October. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wants that Deepotsav 2025 should not be just a festival of lights, but it should become such a confluence of devotion, culture and digital experience that will give new heights to the identity of Ayodhya.
Under this thinking, 20 special selfie points are being prepared to make Ayodhya Dham more grand. These points will be based on major episodes of Ramayana and are being established at important places like Dharampath, Lata Chowk, Ram Ki Paidi and Ramkatha Park.
Selfie point based on 20 episodes of Ramayana
The theme of each selfie point will be related to some important incident of Ramayana. These include:
- Hanuman ji flying with Sumeru mountain
- Hanuman saving Lord Shri Ram from rain
- Hanuman flying carrying Ram and Lakshman on his shoulders
- Lord Shri Ram talking to Jatayu
- Scene of meeting Sita Mata in Ashok Vatika
- Ravana killing and burning of Lanka
- Kevat Milan incident
- Scene of Mother Sita giving the fire test etc.
All these scenes are being prepared with special artistry. The structures have been designed in the shape of a bow, thereby reflecting the cultural identity of Ayodhya and the symbol of Lord Shri Ram. Devotees will be able to save the memories of Deepotsav by taking pictures with these attractive selfie points.
Ayodhya will get a new and grand identity
These 20 thematic selfie points are being constructed under the supervision of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department. The executing agency SAARC Media is preparing this project. Director of the organization Saurabh Kumar Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Ayodhya is now becoming not just a religious place but a center of modern art and spiritual tourism. He said that these selfie points will become a medium to connect the devotees with the 'Ramayana experience' and every visitor will get an opportunity to capture the unique cultural glimpse of Ayodhya in his camera.
Confluence of faith and culture in the digital age
Deepotsav 2025 will see a wonderful combination of traditional faith and modern digital technology. Through these thematic installations, devotees and tourists will be able to see and feel the scenes of Ramayana in a living form.
When Dharampath, Ram Ki Paidi and Lata Chowk will be illuminated with thousands of lamps during the Deepotsav, photographs taken with these artistic backdrops will tell the story of the grandeur and cultural heritage of Ayodhya. This initiative of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is a big step towards making Ayodhya not only a center of faith and devotion but also a global hub of art, culture and digital tourism.
