Tiger safari will be built in Latehar

Officials told the Chief Minister that this would be the first Tiger Safari Project of Jharkhand, the construction of which is proposed in Putuwagarh area of ​​Latehar district. This area is outside the Palamu Tiger Reserve and land has been identified for it. Tiger Safari will be built near Betla National Park, which will provide new employment opportunities to the local villagers of Daltonganj, Barwadih, and Mandal Dam area.

Promotion of tourism and eco tourism

This project will contribute significantly to the development of the eco-tourism circuit of Palamu Tiger Reserve, which extends from Netarhat, Betla, Kechki to Mandal Dam. Officials said the Tiger Safari will be set up following all the prescribed standards.
