
Kabul. Tension is visible on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. On Friday, it was agreed between the two countries to extend the 48-hour ceasefire with mutual consent. But just a few hours later, the Taliban accused Pakistan of carrying out an air strike in Paktika province of Afghanistan. Pakistan carried out air strikes in several districts of Paktika province adjacent to the Durand Line. Three Afghan cricketers have also died in these attacks.
Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has expressed deep grief over the death of three of its cricketers in the attack by Pakistan. This tragic incident took place in Urgun district of Paktika province, where eight people including Afghan cricketers Kabir, Sibgatullah and Haroon were killed in the attack by Pakistani forces, while seven others were injured.

According to the information, these players had gone to play a friendly match in Sharana, the capital of Paktika. After returning home, he was attacked during a meeting in Urgun district.
ACB has called it a big loss for the sports world and cricket family of Afghanistan. The Board has expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyrs and the people of Paktika.
After this tragic incident, the Afghanistan Cricket Board has decided to withdraw from the upcoming triangular T20 series, in which Pakistan was also involved. This series was to be played at the end of November.
The board said in the statement, “May Allah (SWT) give high status to the martyrs in heaven, provide speedy recovery to the injured and give patience and strength to the families in this difficult time.”
