Bhopal, 19 October (Read News). A sudden fire broke out late Saturday night in the Central Bank branch located at Marwari Road in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Passersby saw smoke coming out from inside the bank and immediately informed the police and fire brigade. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot and brought the fire under control. However, some documents of the bank were burnt in the fire. Short circuit is believed to be the primary cause of the fire. At present the matter is being investigated.
According to the information, a fire broke out late night in the Central Bank branch located on Marwari Road. Due to the festival of Dhanteras, there was a lot of crowd in the market. During this time, after the fire, the fire alert system of the bank also became active. As soon as people heard the sound, they saw smoke coming out from inside the bank. A crowd gathered at the spot. People informed the police and fire brigade. After this, fire brigades from Junani Safakhana and Fatehgarh reached the spot. Due to narrow roads in the market and residential areas of the old city, the firefighters had to struggle a lot to reach the bank. People also came forward to help and removed the vehicles parked on the roadside. Somehow a path was made for the fire brigade. The fire could be completely controlled after around 1.30 in the night. Firefighter Rajendra Batham said that it took about two hours to extinguish the fire. The fire broke out due to short circuit. The bank management is assessing the extent of the loss. However, this has not been clarified by the bank management. Bank officials are busy assessing the loss. On the other hand, the rupee is safe.
