Three cricketers from Afghanistan were killed in the air strike by Pakistani Army. The people of Afghanistan are very angry after this attack in Paktika province. Before this attack, these three players were going to have their feast, but before that, Agha, Haroon and Sibgatullah almost died. After this, this attack is being condemned everywhere. Many more young cricketers could have lost their lives in this attack, but they were lucky that they did not join the feast.

How did three cricketers die?

“Some players said they were too tired to participate,” a panelist said in an online discussion, according to a Cricbuzz report. It is still being confirmed whether Pakistani jets or missiles were involved in the attack.

This is how the lives of some players were saved

According to reports, a player told that he had played a match earlier in the day and was later invited to a friend's house. Some players said they were too tired so they stayed, but others left. Of the players who went, one was injured and three club-level Afghan cricketers were killed.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said that in this attack, five people from Agha, Haroon and Sibgatullah and Urgun districts lost their lives and seven others were injured. These players had earlier gone to Sharana, the capital of Paktika province, to take part in a friendly cricket match. After returning to Urgun, he was targeted during a meeting.

Tournaments will be organized in the name of slain cricketers!

An ACB official indicated that tournaments could be organized in the name of cricketers. “At present, we have no such plans, but hopefully tournaments will be organized in the names of these players to keep their memories alive,” the ACB official said in Pashto.
