Introduction to the Apaar ID Card
Students holding an Apaar ID card will benefit from reduced air ticket prices, making travel more affordable. This card serves as a digital repository for all academic records.
Significance of the Apaar ID for Students
For students with an Apaar ID, this announcement is crucial. The card simplifies travel, offering substantial discounts on air tickets that previously posed a financial burden for families. In Bihar alone, over 10 million students will have access to this benefit. The central government has introduced these discounts under the "One Nation, One Student" initiative, extending advantages to students from various states.
Ministry of Education's Initiative
The Ministry of Education has initiated efforts to broaden the advantages of the Apaar card, ensuring students can access educational resources and services. This unique ID card compiles all academic details into a single platform, including digital records of school and college studies, exam results, enrollment data, and certificates. Consequently, students will no longer need to worry about misplacing their marksheets or certificates, as everything will be accessible with a single click.
Eligibility for the Apaar Card
Who Can Apply for an Apaar Card?
Any student enrolled in either government or private educational institutions is eligible to obtain an Apaar Card. The card can be easily generated via the Education Department's website or through their respective schools.
