Excellent placement record of NIT Jalandhar
NIT Jalandhar has performed brilliantly this year in terms of placements. The college has received more than 1000 placement offers. The highest package was Rs 52 lakh, while the average package was Rs 9.87 lakh. Big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and Nvidia participated in this year’s placement session. This year, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch of B.Tech has won the placement session of NIT Jalandhar. 100% placement has been recorded in this branch. At the same time, 94% students got placement in Computer Science branch and 81.37% students got placement in IT branch. Multi-national companies like Amazon, BEL, Atlas, Aditya Birla, Cred, Flipkart, HCL, ICICI, Infosys and Microsoft have made huge offers to the students of these branches.
Himangi Malik: Shine of internship at Microsoft
Himangi Malik, a B.Tech student of NIT Jalandhar, has surprised everyone by getting an internship at Microsoft. The special thing is that Himangi is not a computer science student, but she is from B.Tech ECE branch. According to his LinkedIn profile, Himangi took admission in B.Tech at NIT Jalandhar in 2022. He started his internship at Microsoft in June 2025 and worked there for 5 months. Apart from this, Himangi has also worked as a UI/UX designer and served as an internship representative at NIT.
