Odisha Youth Arrested For Brandishing Sword, Issuing Threats On Instagram

Berhampur: A youth of Odisha’s Ganjam district has been arrested after a video of him brandishing a sword and issuing death threats went viral on social media.
The accused, identified as Sushant Mahakud from Bada Dumbula village, had posted the video on Instagram, claiming that he would go to the Digapahandi police station with a sword and “three heads”.
He also urged viewers to like and comment on his post.
The video quickly went viral on social media, sparking fear among locals. It also drew the attention of police, who traced Sushant to his village and arrested him. He was later produced in a court.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the motive behind the uploading the video.
