IND vs AUS Mohammed Siraj Fielding: Today i.e. on 19th October, the first ODI was played between India and Australia. Mohammad Siraj, who is often trolled for his fielding, did wonders in this match. The fast bowler did something that the audience could not believe their eyes after seeing. He snatched 5 runs from the opposition team while flying in the air on the boundary line. The video of his effort is going viral on social media.

Mohammad Siraj stopped the ball by flying

In the 18th over of Australia’s innings, Matt Renshaw hit a powerful shot against Washington Sundar on the very second ball. This shot played towards long off was going fast in the air for a six. But before crossing the boundary line, Siraj came in between.

He jumped and pushed the ball into the field with his right hand. Before Siraj could hit the line, he released the ball from his hand. Due to which Australia could get only 5 runs for the shot for which it should have got 6 runs.

Siraj did not get any success

Mohammad Siraj bowled 4 overs in the first ODI against India vs Australia, but he did not achieve even a single success. However, he spent only 21 runs miserly. After the final of the World Cup 2023, Siraj was seen in the ODI format. During this period, he performed well in Tests but was not able to find a place in the ODI format. Siraj has also been the number-1 bowler in the ICC rankings in the year 2022. He has taken 71 wickets in 45 ODIs.

Australia won

Let us tell you that due to rain interruption thrice, the match was reduced to 26 overs. Batting first, India scored 136 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. KL Rahul was the most successful batsman by scoring 38 runs. Due to DLS, Australia got the target of 131 runs, which they easily achieved with 7 wickets remaining. Mitchell Marsh played a captaincy inning of 42 runs in 52 balls.
