Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has announced its first list of 25 candidates for Bihar Assembly elections 2025. These elections will be held in two phases on 6th and 11th November and counting of votes will be done on 14th November. The party shared this list on its official X (formerly Twitter) account and reiterated its resolve to become the voice of the depressed classes of Bihar.
AIMIM said that this list has been prepared by the Bihar unit of the party and it has been finalized with the advice of the national leadership. The party wrote in the post that Insha Allah, we will become the voice of the most deprived sections of Bihar.
Major Candidates and Sectors
Many important names are included in the announced list. Senior party leader Akhtarul Iman has got the ticket from Amour seat, who is considered the main face of the party in Seemanchal region. Anas Salam has been made the candidate from Gopalganj seat, due to which the party has expressed its intention to expand beyond its traditional Seemanchal area.
Advocate Shams Aghaz has been fielded from Muslim dominated area like Kishanganj. Apart from this, the focus has been maintained on Seemanchal by making Shamimul Haq from Narkatia and Tausif Alam from Bahadurganj as candidates. Naseema Khatoon has been given the ticket from Nawada, who is one of the few women candidates in the list.
Election preparations intensified
Election activity has increased for 243 assembly seats of Bihar. NDA alliance has intensified its campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold 12 rallies from October 24. Along with him, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari will also participate in the campaign.
Trouble over seats in grand alliance
The opposition grand alliance has not yet been able to finalize the seat sharing. Although Congress and some other parties have announced candidates, the strategy is still incomplete.
