He knew the crowd had come for FE!N, and Travis Scott made sure no one left disappointed. In his debut performance at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the rapper, known to fans as La Flame, brought a full-scale spectacle of fire, sound and stagecraft – one rarely seen in the city.
‘This is my first time in this beautiful country’
Despite a ticket resale chaos, the Diwali weekend clash, and fans debating whether to skip the show, Travis took the stage on a night when Delhi’s streets were already jammed with festive traffic. Yet the city showed up. Arriving slightly after 8pm, the artiste performed non-stop, bringing an energy that even the crowd struggled to match.
“Delhiiiii,” said Travis as he arrived on stage amidst heavy smoke and a sea of flickering lights. “This is my first time in this beautiful country. Thank you so much for welcoming me. I didn’t know we had so many fans here,” he added as he performed a number of hits.
When Travis Scott set Delhi ablaze with his ‘FE!N’ energy
While many were concerned about fans turning violent or going berserk in the mosh pit – and while a few usual miscreants did try to rush the stage – others felt the crowd was too calm and that Travis deserved more energy. Irrespective of the social media chatter, Travis delivered a powerhouse performance, rapping for over an hour straight, inviting fans on stage for Type Shit , and later welcoming Canadian rapper and singer NAV for a joint act that culminated with Travis performing FE!N three times.
As soon as the beat dropped, fans ran in circles – guys went shirtless with black sunglasses, trying to match Travis’s energy. Before the performance ended, the rapper went to meet the fans and finally signed off with, “Thank you, Delhi. Hope to see you tomorrow.”
Contrary to most major concerts, the entry and exit at the Travis Scott concert were smooth and free from any pushing. In terms of infrastructure, people often complain about basic facilities—such as washrooms—not being functional at such events. However, this concert was a rare exception. The washrooms were clean, well-maintained, and had no long queues, ensuring proper hygiene. There were also clearly marked water stations and volunteers checking on attendees to ensure no one felt unwell or unsafe.
The show was a collaborative effort between the Government of Delhi , Delhi Police , Delhi Tourism , the Department of Art, Culture and Languages, the Sports Authority of India, and BookMyShow Live.
