Celery has been used as a spice and medicine for centuries. It not only helps in digesting food but also increases appetite. Let us know about its various health benefits:

relief from stomach worms

If children have problem of stomach worms, then mix half gram of celery powder and half gram of black salt and give it with warm water at night. This will eliminate stomach worms and increase appetite.

heartburn

For stomach ache, make powder of celery, small myrobalan, rock salt and dry ginger and take 2-3 grams with buttermilk or warm water. In case of gas problem, consume 125 grams of curd mixed with 3 grams of celery, 2 grams of dry ginger and half a gram of black salt after meals.

menstrual problems

If there is interruption in menstruation, then boiling 10 grams of celery and 50 grams of old jaggery in 200 ml of water and taking it in the morning and evening is beneficial. Apart from this, taking 3-4 grams of Ajwain powder with cow milk is also beneficial.

cough treatment

For cough, make a decoction of 1 gram celery, 2 grams liquorice and 2 grams black pepper and take it before sleeping at night. In chronic cough, give celery extract 20 ml three times a day. In case of frequent cough, licking a mixture of 125 mg celery extract, 2 grams ghee and 4 grams honey will provide relief.


Remedy for warts

After lunch, drink a glass of buttermilk mixed with 2 grams of ground celery, 2 grams of Nimboli kernel and half a gram of rock salt.

In case of heartburn, chewing two almonds with one gram of celery and eating it is also beneficial.
