There's great news for candidates appearing for the SSC CHSL exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the dates for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL 10+2). Candidates who have been waiting for the exam schedule can now visit the SSC's official website to view the exam schedule, as well as important instructions for taking the exam and selecting their convenient exam city.

Exam to Begin on This Day
The SSC will conduct the SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 1 exam in computer mode starting November 12, 2025, at various exam centers across the country. Candidates will be required to select their preferred exam city, date, and time before appearing for the exam.

Opportunity to Select Exam City by October 28th

The online portal for selecting the exam city, exam date, and shift will be activated by the SSC from October 22nd. Candidates will be required to login between October 22nd and 28th and select up to three cities, the exam date, and the time of the exam as per their convenience. Therefore, all candidates are advised to log in and select the exam city before the scheduled time to avoid any problems later.

Recruitment for So Many Posts
A total of 3,131 candidates will be selected by the SSC through the CHSL exam. Approximately 30.69 lakh candidates have registered to appear for this exam.

Tier-1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CHSL Tier-1 exam, scheduled to begin on November 12, 2025, will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks from English, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. The exam duration is one hour, with negative marking of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer.
