According to experts, there can be many reasons for infertility in women, such as ovulation disorder, damage in the fallopian tube, endometriosis, problems to the uterus or cervix, etc. Experts say that if the symptoms are detected and treated on time, infertility can be cured. Endometriosis-
Some women have less pain than normal or no pain during periods, while there are many women who have to face a lot of pain and cramps during periods. Moreover, their periods last longer. Endometriosis is a problem in which a tissue found inside the uterus grows and starts spreading outside the uterus. This tissue may spread to the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or outer parts of the uterus and to other parts. Endometriosis can cause severe pain during periods. Some other symptoms of endometriosis include irregular periods and spotting, chronic pelvic pain (not only during menstruation), pain during bowel movements, pain during sex, back pain, fatigue, nausea, etc.

Irregularity in menstrual cycle-
An irregular cycle, including missed periods, can cause infertility. Due to irregular periods, ovulation does not occur regularly. Many factors can cause ovulation irregularities, including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), obesity, being underweight, and thyroid problems.

Hormonal problems-
Due to fluctuations in hormones, many types of symptoms start appearing in the body. These include acne, cold hands and feet, decreased sex drive, decreased sexual desire, nipple discharge, increased facial hair, thinning hair on the head, weight gain, etc. If such symptoms appear, consult a doctor.

Pain during sex-
Dyspareunia, or pain during sex, is a problem that can affect a woman’s fertility. Infection, endometriosis and fibroids are some of the problems that can cause pain during sex.

Blood during menstruation-
The blood is usually bright red at the beginning of menstruation and may become darker over the next few days. If your menstrual blood is lighter than normal or very dark in the early days of your period, it may be a sign of infertility.

The cause of infertility can be detected by tests like hysterosalpingography, endometrial biopsy, laparoscopy, hormone checkup. Appropriate treatment options can then be chosen. This includes surgery due to blockage in the fallopian tubes or ovarian cyst, IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), Intrauterine Insemination, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), Egg Donation, GIFT (Gamete Intrafallopian Tube Transfer) and ZIFT. (Zygote intrafallopian transfer).

According to experts, a healthy lifestyle can reduce the problem of infertility to a great extent. Consuming caffeine in limited amounts, avoiding alcohol and smoking, maintaining body weight, and reducing stress can help to a great extent.
