Princess Beatrice sent a clear message when she was spotted visiting Prince Andrew's Royal Lodge home on Monday, a body language expert has said. The princess, 37, was spotted in her car as she visited the Windsor mansion where her dad Prince Andrew and mum Sarah Ferguson live.
However, while her parents have both been caught up in a lot of scandals over the last month - with them now no longer using their royal titles - Beatrice put on a "stoic poker face". She was not joined by her sister Princess Eugenie, 35, in the car.
The sisters have not commented on their parents' predicament following their father's announcement on Friday that he will no longer use his royal titles as a result of continued accusations against him - which he denies - following his previous friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Talking about how Beatrice looked as she left her father's home on Monday, body language analyst Judi James told The Mirror that while superficially she is "signalling some distress", she is also showing some "bravado".
She told the Mirror: "With what looks like a face bare of make-up and with her hair scruffed up into a casual, rickety knot on the top of her head, Beatrice could superficially appear to be signalling some distress here, as though she's dropped everything to drive to either see and support her mum, dad or both, or to just discuss their current circumstances."
She continued: "Rather than adopting the body language of tension, Beatrice seems to have swerved the idea of a grave, solemn and concerned expression or of a more regally stoic poker face here.
"Her mouth is wide open, and it seems to be in a wide, beaming, teeth-baring smile. The smile also appears to be present in her eye expression, with a crescent-shaping. This choice of facial expression could be a stab at bravado."

Judi also explained that Beatrice's smile could be "a deliberately projected air of resilience".
Prince Andrew has been keeping a low profile at Royal Lodge since confirming he will no longer use his royal titles on Friday.
The decision does not impact his daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
