
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has opened online registration for the Jamadar Grade-II positions. Candidates interested in these positions can apply online by visiting the official website. The RSSB will recruit a total of 72 Jamadar Grade-II positions, with 64 reserved for non-Scheduled Areas and 8 reserved for Scheduled Areas. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online until November 15, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
Application Fee
The application fee for General and Other Backward Class candidates is ₹600, while for SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled candidates from Rajasthan, the application fee is ₹400.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized institution. They must also possess a certificate, degree, or diploma in Computer Science and meet other prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates should have experience working in Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Age Limit
The maximum age for applying for these positions should not exceed 40 years. Age relaxation will also be provided. SC and ST, OBC, Economically Weaker Section male candidates, and General Category female candidates who are natives of Rajasthan will be granted a 5-year age relaxation. SC and ST, OBC, and Economically Weaker Section female candidates will be granted a 10-year age relaxation.
Exam Pattern
The exam will consist of 100 questions carrying 100 marks from subjects such as General Knowledge, Social Studies, Geography, Arts and Culture, Daily Science, Mathematics, Current Affairs, etc. The exam duration is two hours, with negative marking of one-third of a mark for each wrong answer.
