Bollywood’s wittiest comedy saga is back with Masti 4. Riteish Deshmukh has released a new and explosive poster on Instagram, which confirms that it will hit the theaters on November 21. In this vibrant artwork, the three actors – Deshmukh as Amar, Vivek Oberoi as Meet and Aftab Shivdasani as Prem – are immersed in colorful chaos, surrounded by colorful hustle and bustle and “new livelihood every day, with which they are comfortable!” Seen with the tagline. Deshmukh joked, “The craziness just got bigger! India’s No. 1 naughtiest franchise is coming to you, trailer releasing soon! #Mastiii4.”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, writer of the first two Masti films, this fourth chapter flips the script: not just the husbands’ mischiefs, but also the wives’ witty counter-feats in their “comical battle to outdo each other”. Expect plenty of adult humor, romance and twists, mixing nostalgia with freshness. The ensemble cast includes Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Genelia Deshmukh, Elnaaz Norouji, Roohi Singh, Shaad Randhawa and Nishant Malkani, who promise to deliver a stellar performance even after the shooting wraps up in June.

The 2004 original Masti, directed by Indra Kumar, grossed ₹25 crore on a budget of ₹6 crore, which was followed by films like Grand Masti (2013, ₹102 crore worldwide) and Great Grand Masti (2016, ₹42 crore). Now, nine years later, Zaveri honors this legacy: “From writing to directing, it’s a cycle—even more laughs, even more drama.” Producer Shikha Karan Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions is hoping to make a splash on the Diwali-weekend: “We are completely immersing the audience in the fun.”
