
The weather in the UAE is expected to be fair to partly cloudy today, according to a forecast by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The Met issued yellow alerts in some parts of the country, warning residents of thick fog and a drop in visibility on Thursday, October 23. The deterioration is expected to drop even further over some coastal and internal areas until 9am today.

The Abu Dhabi police called on motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the fog. Drivers have been urged to follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards.

Meanwhile today, residents will face heightened humidity by night and Friday morning over some coastal and internal areas. In fact, humidity levels are set to reach 90 per cent in Abu Dhabi, 85 per cent in Dubai and 80 per cent Sharjah.
Temperatures are set to reach 35ºC in Abu Dhabi and 36ºC in Dubai and Sharjah. The emirates will see lows of 25ºC, 27ºC and 24ºC respectively.
Light to moderate northeasterly-to-northwesterly winds will blow. Conditions at sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
