New rates of DA and DR

Haryana government has increased the rate of dearness allowance and dearness relief from 55 percent to 58 percent. These new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2025. This means that employees and pensioners will now get more salary and pension. The benefits of this decision will start coming with the salary and pension of October 2025. Not only this, the arrears from July to September 2025 will be credited to the accounts of employees and pensioners in November 2025.

Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi gave information about this big decision. Anurag Rastogi, who is also the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, has issued an official letter in this regard. It has been clearly stated in this letter that the increased rates will be applicable from October and the outstanding amount will be given in November.

6 lakh people will get benefits

This decision will directly benefit about 6 lakh regular employees and pensioners of Haryana. According to statistics, there are around 3 lakh regular employees and 3 lakh pensioners in the state. This increase will bring financial relief to them, especially in this era of rising inflation. The Finance Department of Haryana Government made this formal announcement on Friday.
