Smartphone processor manufacturer Qualcomm has launched its latest mobile chipset Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 for budget range devices. This chipset is said to be based on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset launched by the company last year. Qualcomm claims that this chipset offers 36 percent better performance in terms of CPU and 59 percent in terms of GPU.

This chipset from Qualcomm is designed for low-end Android smartphones. This chipset supports features like 144Hz Full HD+ display, up to 200 megapixel camera sensor and Wi-Fi 6E. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset has been given the model number SM6435-AA. Built on 4nm node and 64-bit architecture. It includes an octa-core Qualcomm Kryo CPU, with 4 performance cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and 4 efficiency cores up to 1.8GHz. For graphics, the chipset features Qualcomm Adreno GPU, which supports OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1 and OpenCL 2.0 FP API. This chipset supports HDR gaming and 10-bit color depth. This chipset offers hardware-accelerated H.265 and VP9 decoding. According to Qualcomm, GPU performance is 59 percent better than the previous generation.
