Ranchi, October 24 (Read News). In the capital Ranchi, devotees bid farewell to Maa Kali with tearful eyes. On Friday, the idol of Maa Kali was immersed in various water sources. On this occasion, devotees prayed to Goddess Kali to come again next year.

A grand immersion procession of New Kali Puja Committee, Kali Mandir Road, Doranda was taken out. Before this, a grand aarti of Goddess Kali was performed in the puja courtyard and blankets were distributed among the needy.

It was done in memory of late Shiv Lal Gupta, father of Blanket Distribution Committee Chairman Shambhu Gupta. The committee said that during the puja, lakhs of people came to visit the pandals and have darshan of Maa Kali.

Committee President Shambhu Gupta, Secretary Ajay Ghosh, Treasurer Manoj Malakar, Organization Secretary Bittu Ghosh, Tapu Ghosh, Pappu Bali, Bablu Shah, Manoj Nayak, Devraj Burman, Mitwa Ghosh devotees and others were present on the occasion.
