A video from a train’s general compartment is going viral on social media, showing a heated confrontation between a group of transgenders and a male passenger. The incident, reportedly recorded by another commuter, has sparked widespread debate online about harassment and safety in public transport.

Viral Video Shows Heated Argument in Train

In the video, a group of transgenders (commonly referred to as Kinnars in some regions) can be seen asking passengers for money inside a crowded general compartment. The situation turns tense when one passenger refuses to pay and questions their behavior.

The group allegedly begins arguing and misbehaving with the man. However, the confrontation takes a turn when the passenger calmly warns that he will report the incident to the Railway Protection Force (RPF). On hearing this, the group quickly apologizes and leaves the compartment, bringing the situation under control.

“This Is Our Language,” They Say

During the argument, the transgenders can be heard saying, “This is our language,” to which the man responds, “Are you extorting money?” As the video continues, tensions rise briefly before de-escalating. The man concludes the exchange by saying, “It’s over now; this video will reach the railways,” after which the group exits the scene.

The footage, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @Mahtab_Siddiqu1, has already garnered millions of views and thousands of comments.

Public Reaction: Demands for Railway Action

The viral video has triggered strong reactions online. Many passengers commented that such incidents have become frequent in general compartments, with some alleging that certain groups regularly demand money aggressively.

One user commented,

“These kinds of incidents are common. Transgenders often forcefully demand money from passengers, but no strict action is taken.”

Another claimed,

“We once faced a similar issue on a train between Igatpuri and Nashik. There should be more RPF patrols to ensure safety.”

Authorities Yet to Respond

As of now, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) or Government Railway Police (GRP) has not issued an official statement regarding the viral video. However, social media users are urging railway authorities to investigate the incident and ensure safety measures for passengers.
