According to a notification issued by the CBSE, the CTET 2026 must be applied for online. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in. The CBSE has stated that a separate bulletin will be issued to initiate the application process. Through this bulletin, candidates will be able to learn about the exam syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, exam fee, exam cities, and important dates.

The CBSE has also stated that this bulletin will be available on the official CTET website. CBSE has advised candidates to download the bulletin from the official website and read it carefully before applying.

Is there now only one CTET a year?
CBSE previously conducted the CTET on December 14th, with the results released on January 9th. Following this, the June CTET was not conducted. The December CTET has been rescheduled for February. This means that the CTET will be conducted only once in 2025, whereas previously, the CTET was regularly conducted in June and December. This has sparked debate about whether the CBSE will now conduct only one CTET a year.
