Former supermodel and actress Waneza Ahmed revealed that she beat cancer years ago with the power of prayers and spiritual practices. She shared her story on Nida Yasir’s morning show.
Waneza said she was living a busy and glamorous life, traveling for fashion shows abroad, and never imagined falling seriously ill. During a trip from Malaysia to the USA, then Sri Lanka, and back to Pakistan, she started suffering from severe headaches that grew worse over several days.
At the time, she was preparing for a TV interview for Sun TV, but she could not attend due to the pain. The channel owner sent a doctor, who initially diagnosed her with meningitis. Waneza went to the hospital for treatment and tests.
After recovering from meningitis, her neck lymph nodes became swollen. Tests revealed she had lymphoma, a type of cancer, at an early stage. Waneza admitted she could not believe the news and did not even understand what lymphoma meant.
Feeling anxious, she consulted a spiritual woman recommended by a friend. She asked Waneza to recite verses from the Quran and continue prayers regularly. Waneza followed the guidance with full faith.
She believes that the prayers and spiritual devotion helped her heal. Without surgery or chemotherapy, her cancer disappeared after a few days. Waneza emphasized that faith and spiritual practice have the power to overcome serious illnesses and personal challenges.
Today, Waneza Ahmed lives a healthy and fulfilling life. She encourages others to maintain hope, trust in divine help, and stay spiritually strong during difficult times.
