DPCC Report On Yamuna River: Yamuna has become dirty. Forget about drinking its water, it is no longer even fit for bathing. Yes… This shocking revelation has been made in the report of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC). The DPCC report, which came during the Chhath festival, has increased the tension of the Delhi government.

Actually, before Chhath Puja, DPCC had taken a sample of Yamuna water on October 9 to test it. According to the report that came two days before the beginning of Chhath festival, the level of BOD and fecal coliform in Yamuna water is very high. Because of this it is not suitable for bathing and use by people.

Let us tell you that preparations for Chhath Puja are in full swing in Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced grand preparations for Chhath Puja. He said that the ban imposed on Chhath Puja on Yamuna river for years has been lifted. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party is continuously targeting the government. The DPCC report has once again given the opposition an opportunity to corner the Delhi government.

Accusing you of spreading lies

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday inaugurated several Chhath Ghats in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area and said the festival will be celebrated with full grandeur this year. He also targeted the opposition party Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and alleged that party leaders were spreading lies. Party leaders, including the Delhi unit president of AAP, have attacked the BJP government over the preparations for Chhath in the city.

500 Chhath Ghats prepared: Chief Minister

While inaugurating the Chhath Ghat built with Rs 70 lakh in Laxmi Nagar assembly constituency, the CM said that spreading lies and propaganda is his habit. But the BJP government fulfills what it promises. It’s only been eight months and there’s still a lot of work to be done. He also inspected the preparations to the festival and inaugurated two Chhath Ghats in Dwarka area. He said that 1500 Chhath ghats are being prepared in the city, while several kilometer long stretches at 17 places on the Yamuna banks are being developed for the festival.

‘AAP wasted 11 years in power’

Rekha Gupta said that this year the beauty and grandeur of Chhath will be such that it has never been seen before. He said that people posting videos (on social media) can say anything to find flaws in our work but it does not make any difference to us. He alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party government wasted 11 years in power without doing any development work in Delhi.
